WELCOME TO TAM HIGH PTSA!

The Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) at Tam High focuses on community building and family engagement for all Tam students, parents, and staff.  To bring together our community, we host events like the Freshman BBQ, Parent Welcome Coffee, Diversity Day, parent mixers, and the Safe & Sober Grad Night party.  We also send out the “What’s Up at Tam” newsletter to provide information about school events (sign up here to receive it).

We support our student community by supplying volunteers, food, and funding for fun events on campus like Tam Unity Days, Spirit Weeks, the Club Fair, Outside Tam music festival, community service projects and more.  We also host the senior breakfast, fund scholarships, and provide cool “Class of” t-shirts for each grade!

Throughout the year, we co-host education programs on a range of topics specifically for families with teens, such as Thriving at Tam and the Emotional Lives of Teenagers. We also developed a series of student panel discussions in partnership with the College and Career Counseling Center. This rich educational programming benefits both our Tam parents and students!!

Finally, we support team building and show appreciation for our Tam staff members by hosting coffees, lunches, and a holiday party.

PTSA membership funds school advocacy on the state and national level, such as supporting legislation for a later school start time for our teens!  The PTSA’s strength is in its numbers, so we welcome you to join us and help advocate for better educational outcomes for all students.

All of these programs are made possible through the support of our parents.  Please join, volunteer, and donate to PTSA today!
